Visit to Oracle

MEADOW AND I SPENT
THE FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER
OUT IN ORACLE.

AND THE WHOLE PREVIOUS MONTH
OF SATURDAYS PRETTY MUCH BUT
I DIGRESS.

IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY,
KINDA COOLISH WITH RAIN
IN THE AIR.

WE TOOK DOWN OUR GLOW PROJECT
FROM THE TRIANGLE L RANCH SITE.

THE SITE IS REALLY COOL.
ORACLE HAS A VERY UNIQUE
ART COMMUNITY.
OUR PROJECT WAS LOCATED JUST NEXT
TO THIS COMMON AREA.

THE WOMAN WHO OWNS THE RANCH
DOES A LOT OF ARTWORK WITH BOTTLES.

IT IS VERY COOL STUFF!
I LOVE HOW THE BOTTLE TREE LOOKS
LIKE IT IS ILLUMINATED (BUT IT'S NOT!)

AN OUTDOOR NECESSITY FOR SURE.

OUR PROJECT WAS SET UP ON A TREE
JUST PAST THE ROCK WALL.

THERE ARE STONE STEPS THAT LED YOU
DOWN TO OUR AREA.

THERE ARE LIGHTS IN EVERY TREE.
THIS ONE HAD DEAD BIRD LIGHTS.

A PERLANA FAVORITE!

IT IS SUCH A DRIVE TO GET OUT
THERE THAT WE DECIDED TO MAKE
A DAY OF IT AND SPENT IT AT
MEADOW'S PARENTS' HOUSE.

WE MADE LUNCH AND EXPLORED
THEIR GARDEN (PICS COMING SOON!)
AND I POKED AROUND THEIR HOUSE
WITH MY CAMERA LIKE A CREEPER.

BUT LOOK!  MEADOW'S MOM, LYNNIE HAS
THE SAME CORNINGWARE SETS I DO!
SO CUTE!
SHE HAS THE BIGGER PIECES.
THESE MUST BE REALLY POPULAR
PRINTS,  WHICH IS HOPEFUL AS FAR AS
CONTINUING MY COLLECTION.

I TOOK A PIC OF THESE BECAUSE I AM
OBSESSED WITH BOWTIES RIGHT NOW.
(JUST LIKE THAT RING I LIKE BY MR. KATE.)

GLOBE SHOUT OUT TO COUSIN EMILY!
SHE DID A CUTE BLOG ON HOW SHE LIKES
GLOBES SO I THOUGHT OF HER.

 LUNCH WAS CHICKEN QUESADILLA THINGYS.

THE SALSA WAS HOMEMADE FROM TOMATOES
FROM MEADOW'S PARENTS' GARDEN.
GARDEN SPOILER PIC!

 MORE ON THAT LATER!

AND LOOK AT THE PITCHER THE SALSA WAS IN!
I LOVE VINTAGE TUPPERWARE.
THIS PITCHER IS DIVINE.
PERHAPS A FUTURE BLOG TO TUPPERWARE
IS IN ORDER?  PERHAPS.

NYAN NYAN NYAN!
THIS LITTLE SWEETHEART HAS THE CUTEST
PATTERN ON HER FRONT LEGS.

MEADOW'S MOM SAID SHE IS WEARING
A GOWN WITH ONLY ONE SLEEVE.
SO FANCY,  SUCH A LADY.

I TOOK THIS PIC ON OUR WAY OUT OF
TOWN.  IT WAS FROM FAR AWAY AND
I COULDN'T GET IT TO NOT USE A LONG
EXPOSURE.  OH WELL, IT WAS JUST A
SAGUARO WITH LIGHTS ON IT, BUT ONE
STRAND IN THE MIDDLE WAS OUT SO IT
LOOKED LIKE IT WAS FLOATING.

I THINK YOU GET THE POINT.
