THIS PAST SUNDAY ME AND MEADOW RODE
OUT TO DAD'S HOUSE. I HADN'T SEEN HIM SINCE
BEFORE XMAS WHICH SEEMED LIKE LONGER.
LINDA JUST PLANTED TWO BABY MESQUITE TREES
SO WE VENTURED OUT INTO THE BACKYARD.
THESE SANTA RITA PRICKLY PEAR ARE SO
GORGEOUS. THE PURPLE IS PRETTY ENOUGH,
BUT THE TEAL ON SOME AREAS REALLY DOES IT.
GORGEOUS!
BABY MESQUITE TREE #1
BABY MESQUITE TREE #2
THE CLOUDS WERE PRETTY.
DESERT BROOM (DESERT SNOW)
WHEN THESE PODS FALL TO THE GROUND
IT LOOKS LIKE SNOW (KIND OF). THAT'S WHY
THEY CALL IT DESERT SNOW ANYWAY.
FUZZY PODS- LOVE!
I ESPECIALLY LOVE LINDA'S MAYAN
CALENDAR TABLE THIS YEAR. COUNTING
DOWN TIL DOOMS DAY, ONE DINNER AT A TIME!
DAD MADE THIS PORK STEW WITH SPINACH
AND CHEESE QUESADILLAS.
AND LINDA MADE THIS AMAZING BLUEBERRY
BUCKLE FOR DESSERT. IT TASTED LIKE AN
AMAZING HOMEMADE POPTART! I GUESS A
BUCKLE IS LIKE A CRUMBLE OF SORTS.
BEAUTIFUL!
THE SUNSET ON THE DRIVE BACK WAS REAL NICE.
I GOT THESE GLOVES AT TARGET THE OTHER DAY
FOR $1.50 (AND THERE WAS A SECOND ALL BLACK PAIR THAT
CAME WITH THEM!) I WAS PRETTY EXCITED ABOUT THEM.
MY RING THAT IS TOO BIG ON ME NORMALLY FITS
PERFECTLY OVER THE GLOVES. HOLLA!
I wish we could come have dinner with you sometime IN ARIZONA. Can you believe I've never been? That food looks amazing!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I can't believe you've never been to Tucson! Brittney was just here with her boyfriend. Dad has a guest house if you guys ever want to!!
